PAO (ORs) MEG & Centre, Bangalore is one of the oldest Pay Accounts Offices under Defence Accounts Department. The same moved to the present location on 25th May 2001.

PAO (ORs) MEG & Centre maintains the pay accounts and AFPP Fund accounts of the Personnel Below Officer Ranks (PBORs) of Madras Engineering Corps Groups and TA personnel of three Batallions. This is the second largest PAO under the organization of Principal Controller of Defence Accounts, Bangalore, handling around 33000 Individual Running Ledger Accounts (IRLAs) of the PBORs. Computerised Pay Accounting is being done in respect of the above IRLAs barring disembodied / embodied services of certain TA personnel. Efforts are made to computerize these IRLAs also very shortly.
